According to Immigration New Zealand, there have been certain updates in the immigration rules. Such changes will be easily implemented from April 2022. The changes include mandatory requirements for lodging an application for a resident visa at migration control port.
As citizens of Australia and permanent residents of NZ do not require a critical-purpose visa to enter the country, no more COVID-19 Support Residence instructions exist. New border class exceptions have been introduced for both new and returning international students. The agreement to recruit employees under the Supplementary Seasonal Employment scheme no longer exists.
