After the hitting of COVID-19, the demand for highly experienced healthcare professionals in New Zealand has mushroomed significantly. That is why INZ has successfully introduced a new care worker residence pathway. This pathway for care workers may be available from January 2024.
Its purpose is to support the high demand for supporting care workers due to the increasing population of New Zealand. To become eligible for the New Zealand care workforce work to residence visa, applicants must have worked in the care workforce sector for at least twenty-four months. Also, the employer must be accredited and pay the level 4 payment.
