Necessary Information About The Cost To Migrate To New Zealand

Migrating to a foreign country is a costly endeavor. Our clients always ask us how much money they'll need to cover all of their relocation costs. The cost can vary depending on your plans for New Zealand, the type of NZ visa you'll need, your living standards, and how long it takes you to find work and obtain a visa.

It's important to know what to plan from the beginning and to set a budget. Some needless delays will eat into your savings, so stop them.

Consult with us about the best way to make your plans a reality. Here, we will provide you with a summary of the immigration fees associated with your migration process, allowing you to prepare a budget for your relocation.

Visa Application Fees:

When you submit your visa application, you must pay a visa fee to Immigration New Zealand. The cost of your visa is determined by the type of visa you are applying for. Fees charged by the government are subject to change at any time. Please note that if your application is declined, INZ will not refund any fees.

After reviewing your background and decided on the best visa policy for you, we'll be able to specify the fee.

New Zealand Qualification Assessment(NZQA) Fee:

You will have to pay a processing fee if your overseas certificate has to be assessed by the NZQA. The processing fees for your qualification assessment are determined by the pathway you choose:
  • Application for international qualification assessment (for one qualification) NZD 445 (inclusive GST)
Ask one of our Licensed Immigration Advisers if you'll need to apply for an NZQA certification assessment.

Professional Registration Fee:

You may need to apply for professional registration with the relevant professional board. The processing fee can vary depending on the professional board.

Translation Fee:

Your documents must be sent to the relevant authorities in English. You will need to provide translations if your original documents are not written in English, which should be done by professional translators approved by the New Zealand authorities. You can expect to pay between NZD50 and NZD500 as a ballpark number, but you might have to pay more depending on the circumstances of your case.

Costs For Certified Copies:

All evidence must be submitted in the appropriate format. The cost of obtaining certified copies varies considerably. Our Licensed Immigration Advisers will provide you with a list of documents with document guidelines that will determine which documents must be submitted as originals and which must be certified.

Police Clearance & Medical Cost:

Depending on your country of citizenship or residency, police certificates will cost anywhere from NZD10 to NZD50.

The cost of medical records and X-ray certificates is high. Depending on the country you are in at the time of your test, they will cost several hundred dollars.

Please keep in mind that police clearances and medical records are only valid for a certain amount of time after they are issued.

Our Immigration Fees:

Our fees will be included in the total cost of your relocation. They are an excellent investment for a fruitful and painless migration. From the beginning, our immigration fee structure is simple to understand, affordable and straightforward. The cost of your process will be determined by the level of work required.
