You have the option of appealing against a decision made by INZ (Immigration New Zealand). The Immigration and Protection Tribunal (IPT) hears appeals. Appeal Time Limits
◼️Breach of visa requirement – 28 days after receiving a notice of deportation liability
◼️In New Zealand illegally – 42 days after being illegal in New Zealand
◼️Judicial Review application for a review of the decision-making process – 28 days following the date on which the individual was told of the decision
◼️Minister decides someone has cause to terminate temporary visa – 28 days after receiving deportation liability notice to file a humanitarian appeal
◼️Appeal against denial of a residence visa – 42 days after receiving notification of the decision; notification is presumed to have occurred seven days after posting of the notification
◼️Appeal against denial of a residence visa if the applicant's address is outside of New Zealand – 42 days after notice of decision; notification is presumed to have occurred 14 days after posting of notification
